ROSINA (CARUSO) SERVELLO
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Rosina (Rose)
Born in the beautiful mountain town of Filadelfia, Calabria, Italy on December 28, 1936. Died on September 25, 2025, at the North Bay Regional Hospital. Many thanks to the wonderful doctors and nurses who attended to her.
Rose had a beautiful smile, loving disposition, a wonderful voice and sang at any occasion presented to her. She was also an amazing cook and loved gardening. But her real passion was her family. She will be dearly missed.
On December 29, 1956, Rosina married the only man she ever loved, Carmelo Servello, also from Filadelfia. She had a long and fruitful life, raising a large family of eight: Joseph, Anisah (Philip Pidduck) Gina (Daryl Graff), Lucia (Peter Doyle), Margarita (Lou Durocher) Tony (Pauline), Carlo & Italo.
She was the proud Grandmother of twelve: Carmelo, Cassandra, Raymond, Max, Caela, Conor, Amanda, Mariah, Lou (Jr.) Anthony, Carmelo & Rocco. She was also the great-grandmother of six.
She will also be sadly missed by her sister, Cathy (Fruci) and her children; Albert, Ann-Marie & Carmen (r.i.p); her brother Frank Caruso (Angela), & his children, Ian, Darren & Carly; Her brother Aldo Caruso and his children: Diane, Donna, Carmen & Jamie.
Mourning Rose’s passing is her Sister-In-Law, Lisa Giustra and children: Roberto, Sabrina, Daniela & Rosemary.
Rose was predeceased by her Parents, Carmelo & Carmela Caruso, her sister, Maria, her loving husband, Carmelo and grandson, Anthony.
Visitation: Hillside Funeral Home Friday, Oct. 3rd from 3 - 5 p.m & 6 - 8 p.m.
Funeral Mass: Saturday Oct. 4th - 11 a.m at St. Peter’s Church, 299 Airport Road, North Bay.
