Rotary honours Kevin Oschefski’s ‘Service Above Self’

Country 90.5 CFCH morning host Kevin Oschefski is this year’s Paul Harris Fellow Award winner.

He was honoured by the Rotary Club of North Bay for his many years of service to the community, including Redpath Rotary4Kids, the CIBC Run for the Cure, and the YMCA Fill The Bus campaign.

A special gala took place Nov. 7.

The Paul Harris Fellow award is the highest recognition a Rotary club can bestow upon an individual.

“Kevin, you were selected to receive this recognition because the Rotary club believes that your life exemplifies the humanitarian and educational objectives of The Rotary Foundation,” says Bill Hagborg, Rotary Past District Governor. “We thank you for demonstrating in your life and vocation a commitment to helping persons in need here in our community and surrounding area.”

The fundraising gala also supported Rotary’s efforts to eradicate polio and the Canadian Cancer Society’s fight against breast cancer.

The Rotary International motto is ‘Service Above Self’.
