Ruck March commemorates those lost on 9/11

22 Wing North Bay is holding its fourth annual 9/11 Memorial Ruck March on Wednesday.

The continuous 11-hour event commemorates those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

Money is also being raised for Tuesday’s Children, which promotes long-term healing in all those directly impacted by the events of 9/11, and supports children, families, and communities affected by acts of terror worldwide.

Anyone can take part in the march, either part of it or the entire event, which starts at 0600 hrs at the wing athletic field on Guelph Street.

Participants are advised to wear proper athletic gear, bring adequate food and water, and contact Staff Sergeant Madison Wilkie Madison.Wilkie@forces.gc.ca.
