Rural residents encouraged to join committee
If you live in the rural parts of North Bay, the city is hoping you’ll consider joining the Rural Advisory Committee.
Officials say having people on the committee that live outside the urban part of the city can help communicate the unique needs and interests of rural residents.
The volunteer committee meets twice a year, once in the spring and again in the fall.

They can offer input on several issues, with a rural perspective, including road maintenance, winter operations, land use planning, economic development opportunities, and more.
The deadline for applications is noon on Monday, April 27.
Visit the city’s website for more information.
