With Christmas fast approaching, The Salvation Army North Bay says they’re only a quarter of the way towards their fundraising goal.

Major Stephanie Watkinson, Corps Officer, says $62,000 has been raised so far through their kettle campaign.

The goal is $250,000.

“These funds are used in North Bay for year-round programs and services as well as Christmas food hampers”, says Watkinson. “It is through the wide range of services that we are able to locally provide hope and dignity to the residents of North Bay and surrounding area.”

The annual kettle campaign kicked off in late November with six kettles in North Bay that all feature tap technology.

Donations can also be dropped off at The Salvation Army at 134 McIntyre St. East or made online at salvationarmy.ca/northbay
