School Buses cancelled for a second day (Jan. 21) due to-extreme cold

By Richard Coffin

Nipissing-Parry Sound Student Transportation says the extreme cold has cancelled school buses in all area weather zones Tuesday (Jan. 21).

Schools remain open.

It’s the second straight day school buses have been cancelled because of the extreme cold.

Meantime, some relief is on the way as an extreme cold warning continues for the North Bay area.

Environment Canada says wind chill values may approach minus 40 Tuesday morning.

But, the weather agency also says temperatures are expected to moderate this afternoon.
