Seasonal load restrictions are now in place for heavy vehicles

The City of North Bay would like to remind everyone that seasonal load restrictions are now in place for heavy vehicles on some roads. The annual restrictions, which are in effect until May 15th, are aimed at preventing our roads from being permanently damaged during the spring thaw.

During the reduced load period, the maximum allowable weight shall not exceed five tonnes per axle. Roads covered by half-loading are mostly rural and are posted with the appropriate regulatory signs.
