North Bay Police Service Investigating Recent Incident of Tire Vandalism

The North Bay Police Service is seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect or suspects involved in damaging vehicle tires throughout the city of North Bay after another incident of tire damage occurred between March 2 and 3, 2025.

On March 3, 2025, the North Bay Police Service received a report that the tires of twelve vehicles were damaged at a business in the 100-block of Worthington Street East, North Bay, between Ferguson Street and Wyld Street. Police believe the damage occurred overnight between March 2 and March 3, 2025.

At this time, no description of the suspect or suspects is available for release.

The North Bay Police Service believes this incident is linked to multiple incidents in which vehicles throughout the city of North Bay had their tires irreparably damaged. A timeline of the other occurrences being investigated follows at the end of this media release.

TIMELINE OF OCCURENCES

  • The first reported incident occurred in August 2023. The tires on multiple vehicles in the area of Lee Park were damaged.
  • Twenty-two (22) tires were damaged on vehicles belonging to a business in the 100-block of Worthington Street East in December 2023
  • In April 2024, two (2) vehicles had their tires damaged at a business in the 500-block of Oak Street East.
  • In August 2024, four (4) vehicles had their tires damages in the 200-block of Oak Street East.
  • Eight (8) vehicles had their tires damaged at a business in the 100-block of McIntyre Street East in September 2024.
  • In September 2024, five (5) vehicles had their tires damaged at a business in the 500-block of Oak Street East.
  • Multiple vehicles had their tires damaged in the area of Monk Street in October 2024.
  • In October 2024, multiple vehicles had their tires damaged in the area of Lee Park.
  • Fifty-six (56) tires were damaged on vehicles at a business in the 600-block of Gormanville Road in December 2024.
  • In December 2024, two (2) vehicles had their tires damaged in the 100-block of Chippewa Street West.
  • In December, 2024, twenty-four (24) tires were damaged on vehicles in a parking lot on McIntyre Street between Sherbrooke Street and Wyld Street in December 2024.
  • Between March 2, 2025, and March 3, 2025, the tires of twelve (12) vehicles belonging to a business were damaged in the 100-block of Worthington Street East between Ferguson Street and Wyld Street.
