Construction is in full swing on North Bay’s new Community and Recreation Centre, set to open this summer!

This modern facility will be Canada’s first full-sized net-zero recreational centre and will include a walking track, large community room, 14 dressing rooms, over 400 parking spaces, and two new ice pads.

Funding for the project includes a $35.2 million federal contribution, $2 million from the Ontario government (NOHFC), and $1.5 million from the City’s revenues via the Cascades Casino and Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation hosting agreement.
