This is North Bay Pride weekend, with a couple of events at city hall.

That includes a flag raising Thursday at noon, with officials say it’s providing a moment of unity and celebration to kick off the weekend.

There’s also a 2 Spirit and Trans Community March Friday at 4:30 pm.

The parade is taking place Saturday with free events, a vendors market and a concert at the waterfront from 2-9 pm.

The line-up includes two northern acts, North Bay’s Mackenzie Drive and New Liskeard’s Nico See.

The headliner is Dani Doucette.

A drag competition takes place Sunday night at Gateway City Brewery.
