Silver anniversary food drive for Franco Cité

For the 25th time, Franco-Cité will be holding its annual food drive on Wednesday (Oct. 8).
Everyone across West Nipissing is being asked to place non-perishable food items in a bag or a box in a visible area outside their door before 4 pm.
Volunteers will be out and collecting donations until 8 o’clock.
Franco students will then gather in the gymnasium for a rally on Thursday, followed by the human food chain at 12:30 pm.
It’ll run between the school and the football field, where donations will be taken to the food bank.
A football game against Chippewa will then kick off at 2 pm.
