Snowbirds to soar over the waterfront Wednesday

North Bay welcomes back the Canadian Forces Snowbirds on Wednesday evening August 27.
The roar of the jet engines returns with the air demonstration team putting on a show over the waterfront at 6 pm.
They were originally scheduled to be here for Armed Forces Day on June 4 but had to postpone that appearance.
In April, the Snowbirds said unexpected training delays during the off-season forced them to delay the start of the 2025 show season.
The city says the marina boat launch and water restrictions will be in effect from 5:30 to 7 pm on Wednesday.
Officials add Memorial Drive will remain open and all waterfront parking lots will be available.
The Snowbirds will be followed by a summer concert series performance from Broken Down Lori at the Kiwanis Bandshell at 7 pm.
