Sports Hall highlighting individual award winners and inductees
We’re learning more about this year’s Sports Award winners and Hall of Fame inductees in North Bay.
Waterskier Jaimee Bull is receiving the Jack Burrows Memorial Award for Sports Achievement of the Year for 2025.
Last summer, she successfully defended her crown to become a three-time consecutive Slalom World Champion.

“North Bay continues to produce many talented athletes, and I am honoured to be recognized among them,” says Bull. “North Bay played a significant role in my early development, and I am very proud to represent my hometown on the world stage.”
She had multiple slalom wins last year, including the Monaco Waterski Cup and several wins on European tour events, which led up to another championship moment for the Waterski superstar.
“All I know is that it is very rewarding when hard work pays off,” says Bull. “Success as an athlete is a team effort, and I’m grateful to have an amazing team that continually supports me on and off the water, allowing me to perform when it matters most.”
Bull will be presented with the award at the 45th Annual Induction and Awards Dinner on Saturday, May 2, at the Davedi Club.
Tickets can be purchased by contacting Larry Tougas at 705-303-8104 or the Davedi Club at 705-474-4190.
