Stabbing Incident Under Investigation
On December 29th, 2023, members of the North Bay Police Service responded to a stabbing incident in a parking lot outside City Hall, on McIntyre Street in North Bay.
At around 4pm on December 29th, officers were dispatched to North Bay City Hall, located at 200 McIntyre Street East, North Bay, in relation to a possible stabbing. Officers located a male in the parking lot with lacerations to his face and head area. The victim was transported to hospital, where he received medical attention for non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect in this incident is described as a male of medium to heavier build, with a salt and pepper goatee, wearing a black toque, camo winter coat, blue jeans, tan Timberland-like boots, and a carrying a backpack with large colourful lettering written “Gymshark” vertically on the backpack.
The North Bay Police Service’s Criminal Investigations Unit is continuing with the investigation.
