Stat holiday closures to ring in the new year
Thursday is New Years Day and that means the usual stat closures.
Most retail outlets and government offices, including North Bay City Hall, are closed.
North Bay Transit buses are not running on New Years Day while the waste diversion facility and the Merrick Landfill are both closed.
There’s also no garbage and recycling pick-up either.
It’s being delayed a day through the rest of the week.
