The North Bay Police Service (NBPS) is providing updated information and surveillance video as part of the ongoing investigation into the theft of a snowmobile from a hotel parking lot in the Seymour Street area.

The suspect is now described as medium build, wearing a black jacket with a small white logo on the left side of the chest, a white hoodie, black pants, and black rubber or large winter boots. The suspect was carrying a red backpack with a large white logo.

The suspect was last seen travelling westbound on Seymour Street toward the Hwy 11/17 intersection. Members of the public can view surveillance video related to this incident, and are encouraged to reach out with information that may assist in identifying the suspect to contact the non-emergency line at 705-472-1234.

The theft occurred on February 2 at approximately 1:50 a.m.

The snowmobile is described as an orange Arctic Cat Riot with blue decals, bearing Ontario licence plate 3AT298.

Investigators are also requesting that anyone with dash camera or CCTV footage from the area around the time of the incident review their recordings and contact police if relevant footage is identified.
