Suspected Drugs seized after stolen vehicle pulled over by OPP

Two Ottawa residents are facing charges after North Bay OPP seized about $6,500 in suspected drugs during a traffic stop.
Provincial police say officers patrolling Highway 17 around 9 pm on Sunday were alerted to a stolen vehicle by the license plate recognition system and pulled the vehicle over.
A search netted police suspected fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine, hydromorphone, and morphine, five cell phones, an expandable baton, gift cards, cash and more.
Charges filed include four each of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Both of the accused have court appearances March 26 in North Bay.
