The 27th Annual Osprey Links Charity Golf Gala raised over $90,000

The North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation receives proceeds.
The event was held on Tuesday, and officials say the money will go towards the purchase of five transport ventilators.
Guest speaker, Rhonda Contant, Coordinator in NBRHC’s Critical Care Unit and Cardiorespiratory, shared that a number of ventilators currently in use at NBRHC are aging beyond their intended service lifespan. “They require increasingly frequent maintenance, and in some cases, sourcing replacement components has become difficult, leading to longer downtimes. Current systems lack advanced functionality, such as adaptive ventilation (which automatically adjusts based on an individual patient’s needs) and lack the flexibility to be utilized anywhere in the hospital.”
Contant added the total cost of this project is estimated to be $272,500, which includes five ventilators priced at $51,500 each and $15,000 dedicated to training and implementation.

President of the golf course, Bradley Minogue, says the tournament is more than a day of golf for the family, it represents a tradition of giving back, one his late father Peter cared deeply about. He says carrying that legacy forward is a privilege.
