The Aftermath of a Devastating Fire

The Aftermath of a Devastating Fire

Main Street is fully open thanks to the professionalism and dedication shown by the North Bay Fire Department and the Public works women and men that worked tirelessly to clean up after the devastating fire.

More than 5 businesses were impacted directly by the fire, two of which suffered water damage. Three businesses were lost. The 100 block of Main Street and Oak Street were closed for the better part of the day and this impacted local businesses in this area as well as all downtown businesses as people stayed away to give room to the professionals.

There were 14 residents impacted by the fire and lost the belongings and their apartments. A fundraiser has been announced by Cecil's Brewhouse. For more on this, click here https://reportnorthbay.ca/14-individuals-displaced-by-fire/

Report North Bay took the time to take pictures showing that Main Street was fully open for business. While the sidewalk is closed in the location of the fire, everything else is open.
