Three wildland fires in recent days in the district
The first wildland fires of the season have been reported in the North Bay District.
At last check, the Ministry of Natural Resource’s Forest Fire Map shows two of the fires started on Monday and are active.
One just south of Feronia Road is 0.4 hectares in size and is being held.

The other is in Warren and is 0.5 hectares.
It’s not under control.
The first fire of the season, reported on Saturday just west of the North Bay Regional Health Centre and south of Highway 17, was 0.6 hectares in size.
It was declared out the same day.
