Tracey Restoule
On the morning of May 11th, Tracey crossed over the threshold from life to death. She was recently diagnosed with Lupus, and has suffered through countless illnesses her whole life including Diabetes, and Asthma. She was a warrior, a fighter, and the strongest woman to those important in her life. She fought every battle with her head held high, and always knew when to take the high road.
She was an advocate for many rights groups, such as Every Child Matters, MMIW, and Indigenous Rights in general. She struggled a lot, but always put on a smile for the rest of the world, it was a very select few people who truly knew the pain she suffered behind her mask.
She was predeceased by her dearest parents, Elizabeth and Howard, whom she loved dearly, and can now be with them. She is survived by her beloved daughter and only child, Stephanie.
Tracey was also an advocate her whole life for animals, having a slew of creatures she'd pick up from the humane society just next door, including a bunny rabbit, or stray cats who would wander into the yard. Her heart was too big for her body, and she often got hurt, trying to help others. She will forever be loved and missed by those who mattered the most in her life.
The family will be receiving friends at Hillside Funeral Services on Wednesday May 22, 2024 from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm followed by a Committal Service at Holy Cross Cemetery at 1 pm.
