Traffic impacted on Stockdale Road and east entrance to Anita Avenue
Stockdale Road will be closed to through traffic between Airport Road and McKeown Avenue June 3 and 4 from 8 am to 3 pm.
The city says the closure is to allow for hydro pole replacement.
Local traffic will be allowed to get through. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes and should expect delays in the area.
Meantime, the city says its been advised by the Ministry of Transportation that the east entrance to Anita Avenue at Highway 63 will be closed from June 3 to June 12.
It’s to allow for an emergency culvert replacement at Doran’s Creek.
Officials say access to Highway 63 will remain available via the west entrance to Anita Avenue with limited turning movements continuing at the east entrance to accommodate local traffic, transit, school buses, and waste collection.
