Traffic Impacts Beginning Monday for Two Projects

Traffic Impacts Beginning Monday for Two Projects

Two infrastructure projects are scheduled to begin on Monday May 11, resulting in temporary lane restrictions and closures in different areas of the city.

Cassells Street – Rock Scaling Work

The inbound curb lane and sidewalk on Cassells Street, across from Victoria Street, will be closed for three days starting Monday to allow for rock scaling work. This work is being completed to improve slope stability and enhance public safety. Motorists and pedestrians are advised to exercise caution when travelling through the area.

Four Mile Lake Road – Culvert Replacement

Traffic on Four Mile Lake Road between Springdale Road and Stanley’s Road will be reduced to one lane for approximately one week starting Monday to accommodate culvert replacement work. One lane will remain open at all times. Delays are expected, and motorists are encouraged to allow extra travel time or consider alternate routes where possible.

The City thanks residents and road users for their patience and understanding while these two projects are completed.
