Trappers are Great North U18 League champions
The North Bay U18 AAA Trappers won the Great North U18 League Championship last weekend in New Liskeard.
They defeated the Sault Ste. Marie U18 Jr Greyhounds 5-4 in the final.
After the Greyhounds scored twice to even the score at four in the third, William Fournier potted the game-winning goal for North Bay at 17:27 of the third period.
The Trappers will now represent the north at the Central Region Championship in Markham.
The tournament takes place March 30 to April 5.
The Trappers went 35-1 in the regular season and were undefeated in the playoffs at 6-0.
