TREMBLAY (nee Groulx): Beatrice Marie
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Beatrice Tremblay (née Groulx), who peacefully departed on June 24th, 2024, at the age of 84. She will be deeply missed by her devoted husband of 56 years, Raymond (Toby) Tremblay, daughters Sherry-Lee Backer (Dean) and Brigitte Chaput (Todd), grandchildren Ty (Kayla) and McKenna Backer, sister Joan Hominski (Mike), brother Claude Groulx (Danielle), sisters-in-law Muriel and Rita, and a large extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Beatrice was preceded in death by her sisters Irene Colbourne, Lucienne Dupuis, Claire Julien and Colette Groulx, brothers David and Victor Groulx, and her parents Oscar and Yvonne Groulx.
Beatrice leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories. Her radiant smile, captivating stories, and unwavering love for her family will be forever treasured, as will her impeccable sense of style, her musicality as expressed in her singing and dancing, and the enduring values she instilled such as courage, determination, and an unwavering work ethic.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to Dr. Bryan Williams, the staff of The Mattawa Nursing Home and Hospital for their exceptional care and dedication.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for a memorial service at Ste. Anne's Church in Mattawa on July 13th, 2024, at 11 a.m.

C’est avec une profonde tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Beatrice Tremblay (née Groulx), survenu paisiblement le 24 juin 2024, à l’âge de 84 ans. Elle laisse dans le deuil son époux bien-aimé de 56 ans, Raymond (Toby) Tremblay, ses filles Sherry-Lee Backer (Dean) et Brigitte Chaput (Todd), ainsi que ses petits-enfants Ty (Kayla) et McKenna Backer. Elle laisse également dans le deuil sa sœur Joan Hominski (Mike), son frère Claude Groulx (Danielle), ses belle-sœurs Muriel et Rita ainsi qu'une famille étendue de nièces, neveux, cousins, cousines et amis. Béatrice a été précédée dans la mort par ses sœurs Irene Colbourne, Lucienne Dupuis, Claire Julien et Colette Groulx, ses frères David et Victor Groulx, ainsi que ses parents Oscar et Yvonne Groulx.
Béatrice laisse derrière elle un héritage de souvenirs chaleureux. Son sourire lumineux, ses histoires captivantes et son amour inébranlable pour sa famille resteront à jamais gravés dans nos mémoires, tout comme son sens exquis de la mode, sa musicalité, mise en évidence par ses chants et ses talents de danse, et les valeurs qu’elle a su transmettre telles que le courage, la détermination et un inlassable éthique de travail.
La famille tient à exprimer sa gratitude au Dr Bryan Williams, au personnel du Foyer des aînées et de l’Hôpital de Mattawa pour leur dévouement et leurs soins exceptionnels.
Parents et amis sont invités à se joindre à la famille pour un service commémoratif qui se tiendra à l’Église Sainte-Anne à Mattawa, le 13 juillet 2024 à 11h.
