Trojans Food Drive brings in over 11,000 pounds
The North Bay Food Bank says it’s ‘overwhelmed’ by an amazing donation. Over 11,000 pounds of food was collected during the West Ferris Trojans Food Drive this week.
The donations were brought to the food bank on Thursday by volunteers from both West Ferris and Chippewa Secondary Schools.
Meantime, the food bank says the demand for their services is increasing and they need support to keep up.
Officials say they serve 400 households a month.
