Two charged with second degree murder after OPP investigate ‘suspicious death’ in Bonfield

Two people have been charged with second degree murder following an OPP suspicious death investigation in Bonfield.
The OPP says on Saturday (July 19) around 6:45 a.m., officers were called to a residence on Trunk Road where a person was found deceased. They’ve been identified as 50-year-old Kevin Rose of Bonfield.
An 18-year-old from Callander and a 19-year-old from North Bay have both been charged. The OPP says both remain in custody pending a bail hearing and have a court date in North Bay next week.
The investigation is ongoing.
