Two new constables sworn in by city police
The North Bay Police Service is welcoming two new constables.
A swearing-in ceremony was held on Monday morning.
Both constables Samuel Murphy and Christopher Lowery began their service with the North Bay Police Service as Part-Time Special Constables, Murphy in 2022 and Lowery in 2024.
Both advanced to Cadet in Training last August and completed Basic Constable Training at the Ontario Police College in December.
While at the college, Constable Murphy was chosen to serve as the Ceremony Honour Guard for his graduating class.
Officials say it’s an acknowledgment of his leadership and commitment to his service.
Constable Lowery held the role of Squad Drill Leader at the college.
The police service says it’s a distinction highlighting his professionalism and dedication.
