Two surplus properties put up for sale by West Nipissing
West Nipissing is looking to add at least $1.2 million to the municipal coffers through the sale of a couple of surplus properties.
A reserve bid for 30 Front Street, which includes a two-storey building, has been set at $900,000.
It’s the former Tourism and Visitor Centre, which does have a tenant using about 1,500 square feet of the main floor.

The building offers about 4,500 square feet of space on the main floor and 2,500 on the second floor.
The other property deemed surplus is 511 Champagne Road, which has frontage on the Sturgeon River.
The reserve bid there has been set at $280,000.
Tenders, along with a minimum 10% deposit, are being accepted until April 29 for both properties.
