Two tournaments drawing nearly 1,300 people to the city
City ice surfaces will be busy this weekend.
A couple of tournaments are bringing hundreds of people to North Bay.
The North Bay Junior Lakers Girls Hockey Fall Tournament includes 1,200 participants.
Games are being played at all three city arenas.
Meantime, 24 teams (96 participants) are competing in a women’s international curling tournament at the North Bay Granite Club.
Both tournaments take place Friday through Sunday.
