Two upcoming events honour legacy of Jack Lyons
A couple of events raising awareness and support for children and youth with Autism are coming up in the next few weeks.
This Saturday is the 4th annual Ride For Jack, hosted by the North Bay Mountain Bike Association.
The fat bike adventure, and Kid’s Snow Zone, is being held at the Stepping Stones Trails in Corbeil.

Also coming up is the 2026 Jack Lyons Memorial Hockey Exhibition.
It takes place at Boart Longyear Memorial Gardens on March 10.
Special guests include the Chippewa and West Ferris Secondary School hockey teams, the North Bay North Stars, North Bay Battalion, and North Bay Police Association.
Officials say both events honour the legacy of Jack Lyons and his family’s advocacy for children with Autism, while celebrating inclusion, community spirit, and accessible programming for children and youth with special needs.
Proceeds from both will support specialty programming and summer camps at One Kids Place.
