U10A Trappers Learning about Community Engagement and Leadership

By Richard Coffin

The U10A Trappers are playing the North Bay Fire Fighters in a friendly ball-hockey competition Tuesday.

Officials say the event is taking place at Barclay House and has been designed to teach young athletes the importance of community engagement and leadership through direct interaction with both senior citizens and first responders.

Donations to the North Bay Food Bank are being accepted.

A ceremonial puck drop takes place at 1 pm.

Sarge from the North Bay Battalion will also be there.
