Maynard, Lilian Fay
July 15, 1932- September 11, 2024
“Come on babe” It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear aunt Fay Maynard which took place on September 11 2024 at Nipissing Manor at the age of 92.
Predeceased by both her parents, Oswald and Violet Maynard, as well as all her siblings Leotta (Late Joseph) MacIsaac, Ruth (Late Merle) Read, Bertha (Late Alex) Ranger, and Bud (Claire) Maynard. She will also be lovingly remembered by several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Fay was a proud veteran of the Canadian Air Force and then spent 25 years as an accountant for Hobbs, McRae, Poupore, Kendall and Sinclair Chartered Accountants in North Bay. Fay had a love for traveling, going out for long drives down country roads, playing cribbage and bingo with her sister.
As per her wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday September 28, 2024, from 2pm until 6pm at 406 Wing on 1st Ave North Bay.
A heartfelt thank you to the attentive staff at Nipissing Manor for their dedication to care and their tolerance of her at times “charming” personality.
