Man Charged with Break and Enter, Weapon Offences
The North Bay Police Service has arrested and charged a 38-year-old male for break and enter and weapons offences.
On September 19, 2024, at approximately 11:30 a.m., the accused was observed by a witness to be attempting to open a gate to the rear yard of a residence in the 500-block of McNamara Street, North Bay. The accused was using a claw hammer in the attempt. Officers attended the location and arrested the accused. Searches by police located the claw hammer and a flashlight.
The accused in this incident is Kyle Marc Joseph PITRE, male, age 38, of North Bay, Ontario, who is charged with:
- One count of Break, Enter a dwelling house with intent to commit indictable offence
- One count of Possession Break In Instruments
- One count of Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
