TROTTIER (née Mathers), Sandra

After a lengthy illness it is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Sandra Gail (née Mathers), formerly of Callander, at the North Bay Regional Health Centre with her family by her side on Monday, September 30th, 2024. She was in her 82nd year. Dearly beloved wife of the late Richard Trottier of 53 years. Loving and devoted mother of Tim Trottier (Suzanne), Vicki Lagassie (Wayne), Fred Trottier, and predeceased by her daughter Cindy. Proud grandmother of Kerrilyn Lagassie (Mike), Joshua Trottier (Stephanie), Jason Lagassie (Mark), Cass Query Trottier (Hollie), Cody Trottier and Kyle Trottier. Great-granddaughter Marcedies, Lucy, and Cindy. Predeceased by her parents Richard Mathers and Irene Hall, and by her siblings Ronnie and Jackie.

 Sandra met Richard met in Callander where they then married and remained married for 53 years. They operated and owned a sepitvac service for 25 years following in Richard Mathers’ footsteps. Richard had a dream of one day owning and operating the Esso at Wassi Corners where he had previously worked, and Sandra and Richard worked hand in hand in both businesses.

 In lieu of flowers donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
