NORM MORRISON
It is with a Broken Heart that we say goodbye to Norm, 51 years old, who quietly slipped away into the night. He has joined his Heavenly Family, including his Father, Norm Sr. He leaves behind, his Mother, Jeannine, his Sister, Christine (North Bay), and 2 Stepsisters Melanie and Natalie (Vancouver). He also leaves behind many Aunts and Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
LIFE CAN CHANGE IN THE
BLINK OF AN EYE,
BUT LOVE IS ETERNAL.
On July 9/24, in Vancouver, Norm closed his eyes for the last time, on this Earth, as his journey here ended.
A Bright Light, at the top of the Stairway to Heaven, illuminated his path to God’s Garden. For a split second, he slowly looked back and with a soft smile, he gave a gentle wave and then proceeded to take his place beside his Family who had gone before him.
At a very Young Age, he was very Independent. He loved to do things on his own and his way. He tried different things even if it took him out of his Comfort Zone at times. He had advice if he thought there was a better way of doing things. He would buy things to make our lives easier. Norm loved his Family Dearly. When we talked on the phone or Skype, he caught up to all the news about his North Bay family.
Norm was surrounded by Wonderful Classmates throughout his Junior and High school years. They were always ready for a good Joke and a Laugh. From the comments in his yearbook, he was pretty darn funny.
Norm lived a very Simple Life. He was always Thankful for the Little Things. He never wanted more than he needed. He was a Helpful and Giving Individual.
Norm preferred to be a Leader than a Follower. His Bosses found him to be Loyal and Honest, Hard-Working, Responsible, and well-liked by all Staff and Trades People. Always with a Smile, he had a Great Sense of Taking Initiatives, Anticipating Events, helping others and responding well to any Situation.
Norm will be Greatly Missed by all who knew him, his Friends, his Co-Workers, the Staff, his Neighbours, his Family, especially his Mom and Sister!
We will miss those Phone Calls, Text Messages and Skype Calls.
IT’S WHEN THE NIGHT IS DARKEST
THAT YOU SEE THE BRIGHTEST STAR!
Love you and Miss You
