Karoglan, Brian

Surrounded by his family's love, Brian Karoglan left us on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at the age of 71.

He will remain in our memories as he departs from his dear Claudette Chalifoux and children: Allison Karoglan (Craig), Trevor Karoglan (Malika), Mike Lavoie (Véro), Nadia Methot (Gilles), Melanie Lavoie (Kyle), and Mélodie Contant (Chris) & his furry companion Aggie. His legacy includes grandchildren Quinn, Brooklyn, Blaire, Colten, Bianka, Lucie, Steven, Nicolas, Frank, Marieve, Genevieve, Venessa, Abby, Chloe, Myriam and Myreille as well as great-grandchildren Amelia, Hailey and Audrey. His brother Randy Karoglan (Michelle) and sister Susan Corkish (Colby) will cherish his memory, along with Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews & Friends.  Brian will reunite with his deceased parents, Walter and Francis Karoglan (nee Truchon), along with his late sister Wendy Guitard (Ron).

Brian grew up in North Bay, Ontario, where he enjoyed an active childhood filled with a love for sports and music. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, camping, bowling, darts and billiards. Eventually, he worked for the city of North Bay for 36 years.

Knowing Brian means recognizing his love for socializing, his great sense of humor, his humble personality, his tenacity, and his ability to make others feel at home. He maintained his steadfast determination and kindness towards those around him until the end of his life, highlighting his selfless nature that people will remember fondly.

Brian's family shows deep appreciation to Dr. Moore, Nurse Natalie, and beloved friend Giselle for the exceptional support they provided.

Brian's wishes have been honored with a cremation, and friends will gather for a celebration of life at the Callander Legion on Sunday, November 3rd at 1:36 PM.

 Rest In Peace “Archie”
