Nate (Nathaniel) Theodore Bridger Sinclair
April 13, 2006 - April 15, 2024
We are devastated to announce the sudden and unexpected death of Nate Sinclair at the age of 18. Nate is deeply loved by his parents Rod and Laura (Price) Sinclair, and brother Drew. He will be missed by grandparents Ted and Grace Price, Florie Price (Graham Price deceased), and Nick and Rose Sinclair. Nate will be fondly remembered by aunts and uncles Tanya McCubbin, James and Ruth Price, Geoff Sinclair and Kristin Rogers, Emily and Randy Mark, Matt Sinclair, Nicole Sinclair, Jamie Sinclair, Owen and Sharon Price, Gareth and Karen Price, Glyn Lloyd (Margot (Price) Lloyd deceased) and many cousins, extended family members and friends.
Athletics were a big part of Nate’s life and over the years, he was eager to attempt any sport. Nate was competitive, positive, coachable and always practiced hard to improve. A natural athlete, he excelled at individual sports and led by example when competing as a teammate. Most recently, he was a member of the Chippewa Secondary School hockey team, powerlifting club, nordic ski team and was looking forward to track and field. He was fortunate to have wonderful coaches and teammates over many seasons, and we will miss the camaraderie at the rink, field, gym, track, and other sporting venues.
Nate’s educational journey took him from Vincent Massey Public School to WJ Fricker Public School and finally to Chippewa Secondary School, where he was completing Grade 12 with the goal of attending university. Through the years, he had many fantastic teachers and an amazing peer group that helped him grow into a kind, loyal, dedicated, and considerate young man.
Nate loved animals and was an avid football fan. He enjoyed music, gaming with friends, anime and cheesecake. We are so very proud of our beautiful boy Nate and will miss his incredible smile and big heart.
We are extremely grateful for the generous support we continue to receive from family, friends and the community.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 27, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Hillside Funeral Services, 362 Airport Road.
