 Free at last- free at last! The family of Grace Ann Gibson (née Goodwin) announces her passing on July 24th, 2024. "I'm heading to the piano, and dancing is about to begin."

 Mother of Sarah Dussault, Matthew Gibson (Nicole Baldwin) and Adam Gibson (Melissa). Grace Ann was very proud to be their mother, the time spent with her children and all the wonderful opportunities and activities her children were involved in was cherished. "Thank you for the joy and laughter." Grandmother of 3 beautiful girls, Gabrielle and Isabelle Dussault (Fredericton, NB) and Elyse Gibson (Brockville, ON). "Love at first sight- loving you always."

 Niece to Uncle Doug and Aunt Donna Mann (Elora ON- "thank you for being there and steadfast all of my life."

 Mrs. Gibson to Micah and Erin "thank you for sharing Merrick and Brynley with me." Aunt to several nieces and nephews.

 "To my Inner circle and neighbours, you know how important you were. I will be forever grateful".

 To the VON of North Bay "You made sure I had a leg to stand on and solid footing- thank you - thank you!"

 Raised the eldest of six girls on the family dairy farm in Pillkington Twp in Ontario, Grace Ann learned early the meaning of hard work and responsibility.

 Grace Ann had always felt called to the profession of Nursing. Graduating from the Victoria School of Nursing- London ON in 1976, followed by specialties in related disciplines, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ottawa University- Ottawa ON in 1996 and finishing with Diabetic Educator in 2014. As the life and the family needs changed - Nursing supported those changes and Grace Ann was able to work in Psychiatric Nursing, Long Term Care, Victorian Order of Nurses, Occupational Health and finally TeleTriage Nursing in North Bay, Ontario.

 Grace Ann was a devoted animal lover and a caretaker for numerous dogs, cats, fish, and even ill-fated canaries. She was a longtime supporter of the North Bay Humane Society as well as a booster club member for the local OHL hockey Club North Bay Battalion (Centennials) Go Troops.

 As per her wishes, Cremation has been completed at the Forest Lawn Crematorium. No services to follow. A private Family Service and Internment will be held at a later date at Elora Cemetery, Elora ON.

 In lieu of flowers- please donate to the VON North Bay or North Bay Humane Society.
