Canadore College to mark the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation

 Canadore College recognizes the importance of Canadians remembering the history of Canada’s Residential School system, including the intergenerational impacts of its legacy on Indigenous Peoples.

 Canadore College will remain open on September 30, 2021. The College has made the decision to honour the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation by providing employees with an opportunity to reflect on and learn more about the significance of Truth and Reconciliation and the history behind Orange Shirt Day. This will have a direct benefit to our students and employees and is in keeping with the intended spirit of the day.

 Canadore’s First Peoples’ Centre will host a special ceremony to commemorate Orange Shirt Day. Details below.
