It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helene Georgette Levesque-Vaillancourt on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at the Nipissing Serenity Hospice in North Bay. God has opened his arms and welcomed Helene home. She will be sorrowfully missed by her loving husband of 50 years Larry Vaillancourt. Helene is predeceased by her loving parents Cecile and Lionel Levesque.
Helene will be forever in the hearts of her stepchildren, Michael Vaillancourt of North Bay, Lori Weir of Barrie, David Vaillancourt (Susan), Aurora and Marcy Pigeau (Brad) of North Bay.Grandma will be deeply missed by Allysha, Shawn, Kayla, Devon, Christopher and Ryan. Helene was born and raised in Timmins, Ontario and moved to North Bay in her early 20’s where she began her hairdressing career. Helene took over “Anne’s Hairstyling” which she operated for many years and had many amazing clients. Once retired, Helene’s love of travel took her to many destinations around the world. A special thank you to the staff at the Nipissing Serenity Hospice. Also, thank you to Helene’s friends and neighbours for all their support over the past year.
