King St Update:  NBPS arrest several individuals and Find a Heavily Damaged Vehicle

Criminal Charges laid by police include: 3 charges of Assault with a Weapon, 2 charges of Mischief, 1 charge of Administer a Noxious Thing, 1 charge of Assault.

On February 20th, at 7:49 am, police were called to a King Street East address in regard to a disturbance between two groups of people.   Upon arrival to the chaotic scene, police located some individuals and a heavily damaged vehicle. As a result of the investigation, several arrests were made and charges were laid.   

 On February 20th, just before 7:30 am, three individuals attended a King Street address and an altercation occurred between the residents of the home and those who had attended, as they were known to each other.  Police were called and officers from the North Bay Police Service attended and located several individuals and a heavily damaged vehicle.  Residential home security video of the area was obtained by police, and an investigation began. As a result, three people were arrested and charged.

 Police remained on the scene the rest of the day, as a search warrant was obtained. The house was searched and some items were recovered.  The North Bay Police Service utilized the Drone to assist in this investigation, and would also like to thank the OPP Canine Unit that also responded to assist. 

 Members of the Criminal Investigations Unit are continuing with this investigation. All three accused were released on Undertakings with conditions and will appear in court at a later date.
