It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Eric at the North Bay Regional Health Centre at the age of 36, surrounded by his caring family.
Loving husband and best friend of Terry Gibbins. Cherished son of Gilberte Vachon and Kim Fournier, predeceased by his stepfather Neil Levesque. Also cherished by his in-laws Jean Gibbins (deceased) and Michael Fedwick. He also leaves his siblings Kyle (Alysha), Luc, Jennifer, Emily, Kassandra-Lynn and Kyuss as well as sisters-in-law Tracy Gibbins (Kendall) and Jennifer Piitz (Dalene). Proud uncle of Neva, Zoe and Ava. Daddy leaves behind his adored fur babies Patches, Mr. and Mrs. Meow-Meow (Xerxes and Taz).
Eric’s true passion was to travel to world with Terry seeking new adventures and making precious memories, he enjoyed cooking and loved bringing joy to others. As per his wishes, Eric will live on through the Trillium Gift of Life Network.
His family are receiving friends for a memorial visitation at Hillside Funeral Services on Friday December 29th from 2 pm until 4 pm and 7 pm until 9 pm.
A heartfelt thank you to the caring staff in the CCU department of NBRCH for their dedication and care.
In lieu of flowers donations to the North Bay Gathering Place or Crisis Centre would be appreciated by the family. Completing a random act of kindness in memory of Eric would be a great way to honor his memory and legacy.
