Vehicle stopped after going 60 km/h over the posted limit

A 50-year-old driver from Mississauga is facing several charges after North Bay OPP stopped a vehicle on Highway 11 around 6:30 pm on Aug. 31.  

Police say the vehicle was travelling 60 km per hour over the posted limit and the investigation determined alcoholic beverages had been consumed by the person.  

Charges include impaired and stunt driving.  

The accused has a September 17 court appearance, had their licence suspended for 90-days and vehicle impounded for 14-days.
