VILLNEFF, Joan (Jeanne D’Arc)

Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of her family at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Sunday April 26, 2026, at the age of 86 years.

She was the beloved wife of the late Harvey Villneff and the loving mother to Joan Lalonde, Harvey Villneff, Sherry Villneff and Christine Villneff and Wendy McCarrel (deceased)She was the cherished grandmother to Katherine (Kathy), Ryan, Karen, Michael, David, Sonya, Christopher, and great-grandmother to Ciara, Lucas, Mairalee, Tadd, Aprille, Heavenly, Harmony, Hannah, Tyson, Genisis, and Poseidon. She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings Marie Dionne (late Jim)(late Danny), Claudette Drover (Jim), Lucille Cornette (late Jack), Rolland Boulerice (Barb), Robert Boulerice (Bette), Pauline Naylor (late Bob), Theresa Lecuyer (late Richard), Suzanne Higgins (Jack), Diane Mahar (Gary), Jo-Anne Thibeault (Phillip), late Donald Boulerice (late Rachel), late Cecile Jobin (late Guy), late Leo Boulerice, and the late Amanda Cecile. Joan is predeceased by her daughter Wendy McCarrel (Mike), as well as her parents Wilfred (Fred) Boulerice and Fabiola (nee Auger) Boulerice.

As per Joan’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will commence on May 9th, 2026, at the Villneff residence 8 Borge Ave, North Bay between 1:00pm - 3:00 pm.
