Warriors of Hope looking for new members
A local dragon boat racing team of breast cancer survivors is putting out the call for new members.
The Warriors of Hope say both paddling and non-paddling members are welcome.
Officials say whether as a survivor, an associate member, or a paddler, there are many ways to get involved and make a meaningful impact.
Anyone looking to join the team is invited to their Annual General Meeting on Wed., March 5, (6 PM) at Our Lady of Fatima Public School on Marshall Avenue.
The event’s guest speaker is Kevin Oschefski, Country 90.5 FM morning host.
