Waterfront attractions open Friday for PD Day, weather permitting
While area teachers are taking in professional development on Friday, area kids can head to the carousels and mini train in North Bay.
Weather permitting, the waterfront attractions will be open from 1-8 pm for the PD Day.
Meantime, the Restoration Jazz Band is holding a fundraising concert for the Heritage Railway and Carousel Company’s new train station project.

It takes place Sunday at 1:30 pm at Trinity United Church.
Tickets are $20 or $40 for family of four.
The band will be playing swing, Latin, ballads and more, with officials saying there will be door prizes too.
