Waterfront Attractions Reopening Saturday

Waterfront Attractions Reopening Saturday

The Heritage Railway and Carousel Company will be re-opening this Saturday, July 27 at 10 am.

Officials say the company has been successful in finding an individual who is licensed by the Technical Standards and Safety Authority for amusement rides.

“We would like to thank the public for their patience and understanding over the past week as we were temporarily closed,” reads a media release. Officials say they will also provide an update shortly on a new date for the 30th anniversary celebration.

The mini-train and carousels closed July 17 after the passing of Dan Pigeau, long-time member and chief mechanic of the rides.
