Waterfront attractions to open on the long weekend
The mini-train and carousels will be opening for the season on the Victoria Day long weekend.
Officials with the Heritage Railway and Carousel Company say it’s due to the inclement weather we’ve had over the past several weeks.
The waterfront attractions typically open for Mother’s Day.
Instead, the season will start Saturday, May 17 this year and run 10 am to dusk through Monday that weekend.
For just over a month, they’ll be open on weekends only.
Starting Monday, June 23 they’ll be open seven days a week through Labour Day on Monday, Sept.1.
