A Community Icon, booster and longtime businessman Ralph Diegel has passed at 97.

Ralph and Pat celebrated their 125-year anniversary in 2014.

Ralph was honoured with a Walk of Fame plaque on Main Street to recognize his service to North Bay.

Ralph proudly served in the Armed Forces and was a long-time member of the North Bay legion.

Ralph was always present for Remembrance Day Ceremonies at Memorial Gardens
